Course Description

Arkansas Pre-License Education – for individuals seeking to become a Real Estate Agent

This is the course you need to complete before applying to take the Arkansas Real Estate exam.

Course credit: 60-hours (full Arkansas requirement)

When

This course is held for 10 hours per day over the course of six days for a total of 60 hours which satisfies the State of Arkansas’ entire educate requirement for for Real Estate Agent candidates.

A lunch break of 30 minutes will be allowed on each day, but may not occur at a consistent time from day-to-day and will be dependent upon our progress through the coursework.

Participants are not required to attend in the same fashion for the duration of the coursework. For example, an individual may elect to attend the first day of the course in-person, then attend the next several days virtually, or any mixture thereof.

The virtual course will be held via Microsoft Teams. All attendees, both virtual and in-person, will need to log in to our virtual Microsoft Teams meeting for the duration of the course.

For those attending virtually: We ask that you act as if you are in the room with the other members of our cohort. Please keep your cameras on as much as possible, limit distractions for yourself and others in the course, and ensure that you login on time from a place with a reliable internet connection.

What To Bring

→ All attendees must bring a laptop (preferred), tablet, or smart device with a charger if attending in-person. Our instructor will be periodically checking the Teams chat for questions which keeps the course running smoothly and ensures no one is left behind.

If you are attending virtually or would like to take possession of your book prior to the first day of the course, please email us at info@homesweetrea.com or call us at 479-408-4008 in order to coordinate a pick-up time and place.

→ For those attending in person: We recognize that everyone has their own unique dietary needs and encourage all participants to plan ahead for the day and bring any snacks, meals, or beverages they’ll need; there is a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and coffee machine in our office for free use.

What To Expect

Will this really take 60 hours? Is there really that much to cover?

Yes. Yes, there is. 🙂

We will be reviewing 21 units of national real estate practice from the book as well as an additional unit discussing the particulars of real estate practice and law in the State of Arkansas. The two tests that this course aims to prepare you to pass cover all portions of the coursework and are randomized, so there’s no way to focus on any particular subjects in favor of others.

Because of the amount of detail we’re covering and our commitment to preparing you for your exam, we will be recording all 60 hours of the course and will provide the recording to all attendees of the cohort thereafter as a study aid which will be accessible for at least three months from the completion date of the course. Please note: Your completed registration acts as your consent to be recorded during the course.

Three days prior to the beginning of class (at most), we’ll email a calendar meeting with a Microsoft Teams link to each of the registered participants. If you’ve registered, but did not receive this calendar invite, please email us at info@homesweetrea.com or call us at 479-408-4008 so we can rectify the situation.
